Michelle S. Bullas is a Partner, practicing primarily in taxation and corporate and commercial law. She provides strategic legal advice to businesses and their owners on a broad range of tax and corporate matters, with a focus on practical, effective solutions that support her clients’ business and financial objectives.
Michelle advises clients on business structuring and restructuring, corporate reorganizations, family trusts, holding and beneficiary companies, amalgamations, and the tax considerations associated with business transactions. She also assists clients with the structuring and documentation of business sales and other significant corporate and commercial matters.
With a strong understanding of the intersection between tax and corporate law, Michelle works closely with clients to identify opportunities, anticipate potential issues, and develop strategies that align with their immediate needs and long-term goals.
Michelle serves clients across a range of industries, bringing a thoughtful, business-oriented approach to complex legal and tax matters.
Michelle has a long history of providing leadership to charities, particularly organizations that support women and children. She was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamon Jubilee Medal for her work with the YWCA of Canada and currently is the Board Chair of Variety – the Children’s Charity of Alberta.
