Silva Fajar Gaotama

Silva practises primarily in corporate commercial law, banking and finance, and commercial real estate. Silva has assisted both lenders and borrowers in financial projects.

Prior to his arrival in Canada, Silva assisted with various corporate commercial projects, as well as banking and finance matters. This included due diligence projects on banking regulatory compliance matters for an international bank based in Indonesia. After graduating from Trisakti University in Jakarta, Indonesia. Silva started his legal career a legal officer for various financial institutions where he found his passion in the banking and finance sector.

In Canada, before joining DBH Law, Silva articled in several law firms where he has gained exposure in various areas of law, including real estate law, family law, wills and estates, and business law. Silva loves to assist his clients in their matters by applying a holistic approach and looking for their best interest.

Outside of the office, Silva loves to watch sports, mainly basketball, soccer, football, and ice hockey. You can find him play basketball either at the local YMCA or other basketball court around Calgary. Silva is also learning how to play golf, whenever he has time.
