Andrew (Drew) Gromnicki

With 30 years of combined experience in law and business, Drew provides a practical and creative approach to corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities and energy law issues.

Today, Drew practices primarily in the areas of securities, corporate, commercial, and oil and gas law. In the securities area, his work has included initial public offerings, takeover bids, public and private share offerings utilizing the exemptions from prospectus requirements, including involving offering memoranda, debt financings, and business combinations. Drew also has extensive experience in corporate matters relating to various industrial businesses, the transloading sector and in delivering strategic guidance for corporate franchise structuring.

Although his main focus is the Province of Alberta, he has provided advice regarding transactions completed across Canada, in the United States, Europe, Central America, and the Caribbean.

In addition to his busy practice, Drew has acted as a director and officer for a number of public and private companies providing assistance in developing corporate plans, the going public process, and compliance with ever increasing corporate governance demands.

In his spare time, you might find Drew out on the water swimming or windsurfing, most likely in exotic locations.
