Judy Burke Profile

Judy began her career as a surgical and critical care nurse, holding senior positions at hospitals in Calgary, Edmonton and Houston. Subsequently, Judy completed law school at the University of Alberta and then articled at the Alberta Court of Appeal to Justice Elizabeth McFadyen. As a lawyer, Judy has represented clients at all levels of Court in Alberta and has acted as senior counsel for several successful judicial mediations and arbitrations.

A Partner at DBH Law, Judy carries on a general litigation practice, but maintains a major focus in the areas of corporate and commercial matters, foreclosures and collections.

Judy was appointed Queen’s Counsel in March 2016.
