David is a second-year law student at the University of Calgary and is expected to earn his Juris Doctor in 2020. He has previously earned a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Education with distinction from the University of Alberta.

In law school, David has focused his studies around business and property law. During his first year, he volunteered with the Student Legal Assistance (handling tenancy and criminal matters), worked with Pro Bono Students Canada, wrote several articles for the Moot Times newspaper, and researched residential tenancy and civil rights with one of his law professors.

Prior to DBH Law, David worked at another Calgary law firm where he assisted with real-estate and corporate law matters. After graduating, he aims to work in commercial property litigation.

Outside the office, David enjoys tennis, cooking, playing the piano, and hiking in the Canadian Rockies.
